Fab Factory Studios Debuts A Brand New Live Room

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Fab Factory Studios in Los Angeles announced the debut of the newly remodeled recording space, Studio A, which has been reconfigured into a fully treated live room at their North Hollywood location.

The studio includes enough room to host more than 20 musicians and comes equipped with 56 Mic/Tie lines, three iso booths, and multiple Cat5 lines for the studios’ video and Aviom Cue system.

As well, the facility features a unique drum wall along with a 1970 Steinway Model D Grand Piano.

The studio’s control room control room features a 40 channel SSL 4000E console with 48 channels of Lynx conversion, EMT 140 plate reverb, PMC8-2 XBD monitors with an alternate set of Focal Alpha 65’s as well as outboard gear including a set of 8 Neve 5052 Pre’s/eq’s, Bricasti M7, a stereo pair of 1176’s, CL1B, and the legendary Teletronix LA-2A leveling amp.

The new studio is part of a a 38,000 square foot complex that features 12 separate studios in all, including a turnkey audio/video podcast studio, a 900 square foot dance studio and a 2,100 square foot event space.

“The investment we’ve made into Melody A was in response to requests from our longtime clients who were looking for a top live room where they could record orchestration projects at the same facility where they’re already working,” said Fab Factory Studios President and Chief Operating Officer, Shaun Fabos. “The feedback we’ve been getting from current clients and producers and engineers in the industry has been amazing and we’re excited to host new projects in this incredible room.”
