LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Position Music President and CEO Tyler Bacon has revealed that Audien has inked an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with Position Music. Under this arrangement, Position Music will handle the publication of the artist’s existing catalog as well as forthcoming releases.
Audien is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer who has solidified his presence in the dance music scene. He is recognized for his exceptional production skills and penchant for uplifting melodies. Notably, he garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical in 2015 for his remix of Bastille’s “Pompeii.” That same year, his track “Something Better (feat. Lady A)” made its mark on the Billboard Top 40, reaching No. 29 and marking Audien’s debut on the pop chart. Following several releases on labels like Anjunabeats, Spinnin’ Records, and Astralwerks, Audien signed with Armada Music in 2021, where he dropped three singles, including the chart-topping “Wish It Was You (feat. Cate Downey)” which went on to become a No. 1 Dance Radio record.
Starting 2022 with another No. 1 Dance Radio hit, “One Last Dance (feat. XIRA)”, Audien introduced his ‘Progressive House Never Died’ brand during Miami Music Week 2022, leading to a sold-out tour and a main stage performance at EDC Las Vegas. Recently, he announced a residency with Tao Group in Vegas and is scheduled to perform at various festivals this summer, including Ubbi Dubbi, Beyond Wonderland Chicago, Lost in Dreams, Veld, ÎleSoniq, and more. Audien boasts an impressive portfolio of collaborations with industry heavyweights, having co-written for K-pop sensation BTS on their track “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal” and produced official remixes for Coldplay, Halsey, Calvin Harris, and others.
