PALM SPRINGS, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs announced the launch of ‘frictionless’ checkout stores throughout the venue, allowing fans to select food and beverage options without having to wait in line to pay.
The checkout stores are powered by AiFi, the California-based Autonomous Retail Shopping solutions provider. AiFi Grab & Go Stands within the venue will allow fans to select food and drink items and walk out without waiting in line to pay or scanning to pay, allowing them to return to their seats and spend less time in the arena’s concourses.
The AiFi Grab & Go Stands, will include a variety of food and beverage options, including snacks, sodas, and alcoholic beverages, and will allow fans to tap credit cards or use Apple Pay/Google Pay enabled devices.
A receipt will be available upon request by scanning a Q&R code with the receipt sent via email to the guest within minutes, according to Acrisure Arena.
Fans purchasing alcohol at the self-service kiosks will still be required to present positive identification to prove they are of legal age.
