LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – 33 & West, the independent talent agency that specializes in representing established and emerging musicians, comedians, and film and television professionals, proudly announces the expansion of its music roster. The latest additions include Mexican rapper Dharius, Mexican hardcore rap act La Santa Grifa, and Mexican hip-hop artist Charles Ans. This strategic move bolsters the agency’s existing Latin music lineup. It underscores 33 & West’s commitment to diversity, aligning with Latin artists’ growing influence and overdue recognition in the United States.
33 & West Co-founder Dan Rozenblum said, “We’re excited to welcome Dharius, La Santa Grifa, and Charles Ans to the 33 and West family. There has been a massive increase in Latin music artists touring the U.S. over the last few years, and we are proud to be a part of the movement. The Hispanic population accounts for 20% of all Americans, making it the nation’s second-largest and fastest-growing ethnic group. It’s important to facilitate the opportunity for Latin music fans to finally see their favorite artists perform live, most of which have never touched foot in the U.S.”
Dharius, a multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning Mexican rapper known for his lyrical prowess and magnetic stage presence, has become a trailblazer in Latin music. His solo career, which began in 2014 after parting ways with the hip-hop group Cartel de Santa, has produced hit singles like “Te Gustan Malos,” “Me Voy a Poner Bien Loco,” “Hey Morra,” and “La Durango,” with over 212 million views on his official YouTube channel.
La Santa Grifa, a Mexican rap act from Tampico, Tamaulipas, is recognized for its raw and unapologetic storytelling approach and fearless exploration of social issues. With fast-paced rapping and ominous beats, La Santa Grifa has released smash singles like “Volver A Ser” (229 million YouTube plays), “Amnesia” (190 million), and “El Diablo Anda Suelto” (68 million).
Charles Ans, the talented Mexican artist, is known for pushing the sound of Mexican hip-hop forward. Ans has earned global appeal for his down-to-earth lyrical style and cross-genre take on rap, incorporating elements of R&B, hip-hop, soul, jazz, funk, and reggae. His albums, including Ataraxia: A Plena Luz del Dia (2016) and the 2021 Los No Tan Tristes, showcase his versatile musicality.
Founded by JJ Cassiere, Matt Pike, and Rozenblum, 33 & West’s client roster spans various entertainment realms and includes musical acts like Tornillo, MC DAVO, Maoli, Dance Gavin Dance, and Devo; comedians Eddie Griffin, Eric D’Alessandro, Masood Boomgaard; and film directors Julie Pacino and SpiderOne, among others.
