THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (CelebrityAccess) — The Board of Directors for The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion announced that Jeff Young has been selected as the organization’s next President and Chief Executive Officer.
Young, who was selected for the role after an extensive candidate search, will assume his new duties effective March 1st. Young is no stranger to Cynthia Woods Pavilion and most recently served a brief tenure as the venue’s Chief Operating Officer but has been a part of the venue’s team since it first opened in 1990.
His past roles include Assistant Facility Manager, Operations Manager, and Vice President of Operations, among others, giving him hands-on experience in virtually every aspect of the 16,000+ capacity venue’s operation.
Young is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in Economics. Jeff and his wife Melissa live in The Woodlands with their two sons, Liam and Luke.
