LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Two-time Grammy Award-winning musician Michael Bolton, 70, has revealed via an official Facebook post that “just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery.” In light of that, Bolton has said he’s now focused on healing and recovery and will take a break from touring.
“I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family,” he wrote. He added that for the next few months, he’ll be focusing his time and energy on his recovery and will have to take “a temporary break” from touring. Bolton wrote. “It is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon.”
According to Bolton’s website, he had tour dates scheduled for early February in FL and CA, with other shows scheduled in Canada, Switzerland, and the US through the end of May.
