(CelebrityAccess) — After cancelling a run of European shows in July, Queens of the Stone Age announced the cancellation of all remaining shows for 2024 while the band’s founder, Josh Homme, focuses on his health.

“QOTSA regret to announce the cancellation and/or postponement of all remaining 2024. Josh has been given no choice but to prioritze his health and to receive essential medical care through the remainder of the year,” the band announced in a statement on Friday.

The statement went on to note that “Josh and the QOTSA family are so thankful for your support and the time were able to spend over the last year. Hope to see you all again in 2025.”

Affected shows include:

9/27 – MGM Music Hall – Boston, MA
9/29 – Southside Music Festival – Bridgeport, CT
10/1 – Andrew J. Brady Music Center – Cincinnati, OH
10/2 – Huntington Bank Pavilioh @ Northerly Isle – Chicago
10/4 – Breese Stevens Field – Madison, WI
10/6 – Mempho Music Festival – Memphis, TN
11/17 – Corona Capital Festival – Mexico City

While the band did not detail the health challenges Homme is facing, he previously revealed in 2022 that he was battling an unspecified form of cancer.

In July 2024, QOTSA postponed European dates while Homme returned to the U.S. to undergo emergency surgery.
