DOVER, DE (CelebrityAccess) — Phish hosted their annual East Coast extravaganza, the Mondegreen music festival at the Woodlands in Dover this past weekend, performing eight unique sets including 75 different songs across the 4-day event.
Now in its 11th year, the festival continues a Phish tradition that dates back to the band’s inaugural The Clifford Ball festival in 1996.
Along with music, the festival included interactive art installations and performances, exclusive pop-ups, Bunny, Phish’s 24-hour live radio station, on-site DJ sets from the likes of Made Of Oak (Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso) and DJ Questlove as well as live comedy.
Leigh Fordham Hall – a circus-like tent and theater – hosted live, game shows like “Mondegreen” in which contestants tested their lyrical knowledge and vocal chops by deciphering some of the most infamous misheard lyric while serving as a comedy club during the day, featuring sets by Rory Scovel, Dave Hill, Jordan Jensen and Gianmarco Soresi.
With Mondegreen 2024 now in the rearview mirror for Phish, the band returns to the road to complete its summer tour with the band’s traditional four night stand at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO, on Labor Day Weekend.
The band has announced plans to return to Southern Mexico early next year for the 8th annual Phish: Riviera Maya, set for January 29-February 1, 2025.
