LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Audio Chateau Records, a new label launched by Jared Gutstadt’s entertainment company Audio Up Media, announced it has raised $4.5 million in funding from a group of investors that includes Glen Barros, Gillian Hormel, and Jonathan Schulman.
As part of their investment, Barros, who is a Managing Partner at Exceleration Music, and Schulman will join as the label’s first appointed board members.
Additionally, Audio Chateau announced that Grayson Flatness has joined the label as an A&R consultant and industry veteran Kate London has been named as Head of Legal & Business Affairs, overseeing business and legal dealings in addition to her current role overseeing business and legal affairs for Audio Up Media.
Since its launch in January, Audio Chateau has already assembled a roster that includes regional Mexican performers Grupo Linea, comedy-country star Uncle Drank, Randy Savvy of the Compton Cowboys, Maejor Audio Sunshine English singer-songwriter Bipolar Sunshine, and Jared Gutstadt.
The latter project was spawned from the Audio Up health and wellness podcast series “Psychedelic Frequency,” created by Gutstadt and Maejor, and 2024 ADWEEK Audio Awards winner in the Best Culture Podcast category.
