(CelebrityAccess) — Former U.S. President and convicted felon Donald J. Trump shared a social media post on Monday stating that he accepted the endorsement of Taylor Swift supporting his bid to return to the White House in 2025. The only problem for the candidate is that the images appear to be fakes, generated by an artificial intelligence system.

Former President Trump shared the collection of images, which include an apparently A.I. generated image of Taylor Swift dressed as Uncle Sam with the headline “Taylor Wants You to Vote for Donald Trump”. The image was accompanied by other images of young women wearing “Swifties for Trump” t-shirts which were also seemingly generated by an A.I. system.

At least one of the images which were shared by a social media influencer on Trump’s Truth Social, included a satire tag, but that didn’t stop the former President from tweeting that he “accepted” the apparently faux endorsement.

Former President Trump has previously expressed his frustration over Swift’s political leanings and suggested earlier this year that it would be ‘disloyal’ for her to support Trump’s opponent at the time, current U.S. President Joe Biden.

“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists,” Trump shared on Truth Social in February “Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will. There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.”

Swift has not commented on the alleged endorsement and has not publicly made her political preferences known during this election cycle. In 2020, she endorsed Joe Biden and has been critical of Donald Trump in the past, accusing him of “stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism” in a 2020 post on Twitter (Now X.)
