Shooting At Iowa Car Show And Music Fest Leaves 2 Dead

OMAHA, NE (CelebrityAccess) — A shooting at an Iowa music festival featuring headliner Boosie Badazz on Saturday left two men dead.

According to a statement from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations, Marcus L. Johnson, 28, and Charles A. Williams Jr., both of Omaha, were killed at approximately 9 P.M. while attending the Pull Up Car Show and Music Fest.

No other injuries were reported and a investigators have not revealed details about a motive for the shooting.

The fest, which featured music from rappers such as Boosie, Rob49 and Rich the Factor, took place at the I-29 Speedway in Pacific Junction, Iowa.

According to the statement from law enforcement officials, the men were both shot in the venue’s parking lot shortly before the musical segment of the event began inside of the venue. The performances were canceled as a result of the gunfire.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Iowa State Patrol, Omaha Police Department, and several surrounding law enforcement agencies.
