NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) – On Saturday (August 10), Johnny Chaing surprised platinum-selling singer-songwriter Cody Jinks with a Pandora Billionaire plaque to commemorate his 1 billion streams on Pandora. The plaque, honoring Jinks’ career milestone, was presented in Houston, TX, ahead of Jinks’ set opening for Luke Combs on his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour.
The accolade comes on the heels of the announcement of his new project, Backside of 30, a re-release of his critically acclaimed 2012 record 30. The album will be out on September 27 via Late August Records.
Jinks has amassed a loyal fanbase throughout his career, having sold over 5 million tickets. He’s also released twelve albums that regularly chart near the top of Billboard Country and Independent Albums charts, garnered over 5 billion streams across platforms and had eight songs certified RIAA Platinum or Gold, led by the double-platinum success of Loud and Heavy.
