NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Arista Records has promoted Matt D’Arduini to Executive Vice President of A&R. A long-time label executive, D’Arduini will continue working out of the New York office and report to President David Massey.
Since Arista’s relaunch in 2018, D’Arduini has shaped the label’s A&R direction. He has been instrumental in developing major acts such as Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum-selling Måneskin, Grammy-nominated JP Saxe, and platinum artist Paul Russell. Recently, he also played a vital role in the soundtrack’s success for The Idea of You, Prime Video’s most streamed rom-com debut.
Massey praised D’Arduini’s contributions, saying, “It has been a privilege to work with Matt since the very beginning to bring our roster to where it is today. His leadership is integral to our continued success, and I look forward to the future growth of our artists under his guidance and support.”
D’Arduini expressed his gratitude: “I am thankful for the continued mentorship I have received from David Massey over the last six years at Arista and throughout my career. I am thrilled to continue working together to foster further an environment where artists can push creative boundaries with the support of the most forward-thinking team.”
Before joining Arista, D’Arduini spent six years at Island Records, working with artists like Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, and Mike Posner. He also spent a decade at Robins Entertainment, collaborating with talents such as Cascada, Afrojack, and DHT.
