MEXICO CITY (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music announced the expansion of its Música Mexicana operation with the addition of an new team focused on d A&R and marketing strategy.
The newly formed A&R team includes Brian Plascencia, who has been tapped for the role of Director of A&R; Armando López, who was named Associate Director of A&R; and Cesar Carrillo who joins the organization as Senior Manager of A&R.
Additionally, Maria Angela Batiz, Director, Marketing for Música Mexicana will continue in her current role with the comapny.
The newly formed A&R team will be overseen by Tomas Rodríguez, President of Warner Music Mexico & Música Mexicana, who will take point on the project from Warner’s regional headquarters in Mexico City.
“The expertise, adaptability, and market acumen of our enhanced Música Mexicana team will bolster our vision for the genre’s development and globalization, cementing Warner Music as a driver of the scene,” Rodríguez stated.
