PHOENIX, AZ (CelebrityAccess) – The M3F Festival, formerly known as the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, will return in 2024 and will partner with concert promoter Psyko Steve Presents to handle talent buying for the event.
Founded in 2004, the non-profit festival has expanded from 2,000-capacity event to a 15,000-per-day live music festival that draws fans from across the U.S.
The non-profit festival also provides support for charities in and around Phoenix and to date, has donated more than $6 million to worthy local causes.
“I have always had a lot of respect for the work M3F does for charity in Phoenix, and for what a great job they do producing a consistently great festival,” said Stephen Chilton sharing his excitement about the partnership. “I first went to the festival in 2009 to see The Flaming Lips, and have returned as a fan every year I could since then. We’re thrilled to bring our team’s expertise to M3F, and we look forward to curating another great lineup for 2025.”
In addition to the new booking partnership with Chilton, the festival recently appointed Damon Scott of Rattle and Rum as Director of Operations, teaming up with the Festival and Charity Manager Rachel Blanchard. Chris Norwood of Elemental Experiential has been brought on board to handle sponsorship sales for 2025.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate 21 years of bringing music to Phoenix, and our partnership with PSP ensures we continue this journey, creating unforgettable experiences through music and community. Together, we’re not only raising money for charity but also ensuring that we give back, making a meaningful impact” said John Largay, M3F Festival Founder.
The 2024 edition of the festival took place in March and featured a lineup that included Lane 8, Dominic Fike, Gorgon Ciry, SG Lewis, Dayglow, Elderbrook, and Hippo Campus, among others.
