LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — ASM Global, the venue management and consultancy, announced it has made a major investment in Boston-based EDGE Sports Group.
The deal will see Edge Sports Group transition to the new name, EDGE Sports Global, while ASM Global will provide venue management and consulting services to EDGE’s clients in the domestic youth sports and sports tourism industry.
Founded in 2016 by Brian and Denise DeVellis, EDGE Sports operates more than a dozen sports venues in the Northestern U.S. and is expanding with ongoing development projects in other regions around the U.S., including in Florida and Arizona.
Following the close of the deal, EDGE Sports Group Founder and President Brian DeVellis, will continue in his leadership role as President of Edge Sports Global.

The financial terms of the ASM Global’s investment into Edge Sports Group were not disclosed.
