NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The veteran rock band Mötley Crüe appears to be preparing to perform a special show in New York City next month.
The show, which was first revealed by a flyer posted to the band’s social media, advertises a band called ‘1981’ performing at the Bowery Ballroom on May 6th.
The 21+ show begins at 7PM with tickets retailing for $19.81 in advance, or just $20 dollars at the door.
While the flyer doesn’t mention Mötley Crüe directly, 1981 was the year when guitarist and vocalist Greg Leon and drummer Tommy Lee formed the group. It’s also the year that Mötley Crüe released their debut studio album, Too Fast for Love on Leathür Records, a label owned by the band’s original manager, Allah Coffman.
The news also follows last week’s reveal of the band’s latest single, “Dogs Of War” on their new label, Big Machine Records.
