OTTAWA, Ontario (CelebrityAccess) – -Organizers for Chef’s Table, featuring a ‘farm to table’ feast along with live music will once again return the patio of NAC’s 1 Elgin Restaurant by Ottawa’s Rideau Canal this year.
The multi-weekend event will take place as part of a partnership between the National Arts Centre and the Ontario Festival of Small Halls.
“This is a great way for folks to enjoy an outdoor dining experience on a terrace in the heart of the city, listening to live music performed alongside the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO world heritage site,” says Mark Monahan, the event’s executive director.
Chef’s Table events will feature a full three-course meal by some of Canada’s most recognized chefs along with music provided by a roster of Canadian artists that includes the likes of Shawn Tavenier, Kelly Prescott, and Mikahail Laxton.
“Much like the past few years, guests will enjoy an exceptional dining experience created by some of Canada’s top chefs, carefully selected through the NAC’s Resident Chef program, which highlights culinary talent from across Canada,” said Nelson Borges, General Manager of Food & Beverage at NAC.
