Identified for inclusion in the Rx roster by Prescription Songs’ Head of A&R, West Coast, Rhea Pasricha, bülow has achieved over 1 billion streams and garnered global critical acclaim. Notably, bülow contributed as a co-writer on Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM.”
Named the Juno Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2019, bülow has honed her intuition in songwriting. Besides releasing her own music and embarking on tours, she has crafted several hits for others, including Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, currently topping Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart for the second consecutive week. Additionally, bülow has songwriting credits on Charli XCX’s “Yuck,” Leah Kate’s “Monster,” and Nessa Barrett’s “la di die” and “madhouse.”
In her personal projects, bülow blends alternative pop with astute observations, intimate revelations, and a pioneering spirit underscored by live instrumentation. Having spent her formative years in Germany before relocating to England with her family, she commenced busking at the age of 11. Her journey has taken her from Holland to Texas to Toronto, infusing her songwriting with a musical wanderlust. bülow has released five EPs, including 2022’s Booty Call, and collaborated with a diverse range of artists, from Ty Dolla $ign to Mura Masa.
