POCATELLO, IDAHO (CelebrityAccess) — Independent promoter Nederlander Concerts announced it has secured a new multi-year deal to provide exclusive programming and consulting services for Pocatello’s Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre, better known as The Port.
Under the terms of the agreement, The Port will leverage Nederlander’s expertise, industry connections, and marketing reach to expand bookings at the venue.
The venue, which has served the surrounding community since 2015, features an adjustable capacity with seating for 2,000 fans in the lower bowl and expandable up to 10,000 by utilizing the full lawn.
The large 60” x 57” stage is also available for use as a cost efficient rehearsal space for bands gearing up for major tours.
“With The Port in Pocatello, we’re able to give artists, managers, and agents three different-sized venues in one, allowing for broad market reach and booking capabilities,” said Alex Hodges, CEO of Nederlander Concerts. “The history and configuration of the venue provides optional goals and capacities. Our mission is to offer a wide variety of genres – diversify the bands and audiences. The Port is a first-class routable location for any national tour that includes the Northwest, and we’ll work with any and all promoters, regional or otherwise.”
“We’re very optimistic about our partnership and what Nederlander will bring to The Port. Our goal is to make The Port a destination venue and this partnership is a big step in that direction. I’m so excited for the next few seasons as they help us work towards that goal,” said Commissioner Jeff Hough.
“By partnering with Nederlander, we’ll be able to diversify the artists we bring to Pocatello so that all members of our community can enjoy live entertainment at our beautiful venue,” said Scott Crowther, Event Director for The Port.
