Allison Elbl, Matt Hanks, Mark Satlof, and Rebecca Shapiro have been appointed co-presidents, while Jaclyn D. Carter has been promoted to senior vice president. Marilyn Laverty, the CEO who established Shore Fire in 1990, will take on an enhanced position at Dolphin Entertainment, concentrating on collaborations and new ventures among Dolphin’s subsidiary companies while retaining her CEO role.
Elbl, stationed in Los Angeles, heads Shore Fire’s West Coast office, representing talent, artists, and brands while collaborating on initiatives across Dolphin Entertainment. Hanks, Satlof, and Shapiro, based in Shore Fire’s main office in Brooklyn, will supervise the company’s core music roster and burgeoning areas such as brands, events, venues, cultural institutions, industry leaders, authors, films, podcasts, and more. Carter, overseeing Shore Fire’s Nashville office, will lead the company’s expanding endeavors with talent alongside her work with musicians, festivals, and related ventures. Together, the newly elevated leadership will oversee a team of over 40, nearly doubling since Shore Fire’s acquisition by Dolphin in 2019.

Elbl resides in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA.
Matt Hanks, who started at Shore Fire as an account executive, has worked with genre-defining artists at every career stage during his tenure at the company. His clients have appeared on prestigious platforms such as SNL and Sesame Street and have been profiled by esteemed outlets like 60 Minutes and Nardwuar. In recent years, Hanks has played a pivotal role in expanding Shore Fire’s roster to encompass award-winning films, books, podcasts, cultural events, institutional initiatives, and more. Hanks, a Nashville native, lived in New Orleans and Memphis before settling in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.
Mark Satlof, a seasoned publicist at Shore Fire, has been instrumental in developing the company’s corporate department and expanding its podcast roster. With a career highlight of orchestrating a joint interview with longtime Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Elvis Costello and Carole King for a New York Times cover story, Satlof is also a renowned Velvet Underground expert and licensed New York City sightseeing guide. He resides in Brooklyn and is passionate about jazz-age history in Harlem.
