SALT LAKE CITY, UT (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper NBA YoungBoy has been arrested on charges of fraud and forgery along with weapons and drug offenses after federal agents executed a search warrant at his home in Utah.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Youngboy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was taken into custody as party of an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal activity.
Records from the Cache County Sheriff’s office show that Gaulden is currently facing felony charges of forgery, identify fraud, pattern of unlawful activity, and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, along with misdemeanor charges of procuring/attempt to procure prescription drugs and possession of controlled substances.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the Sheriff’s office declined to provide additional information about the case at this time, citing its ongoing and complex nature.
Youngboy was already on house arrest as he awaits trial on federal weapons charges related to an incident in 2021 when he was alleged to have brandished weapons while filming a music video in Baton Rouge 2021.
