SAN DIEGO (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for California’s Wonderfront Music & Arts Festival announced it will return to San Diego for 2024 with a brand new schedule.
For 2024, the festival, which traditionally took place in late November, will shift towards a more fan-friendly schedule and will now take place from May 10-12.
”Wonderfront has become a significant cultural event for our city, and we are thrilled to continue our partnership with this remarkable festival,” says Michael Brown, Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Port of San Diego. “By hosting Wonderfront on San Diego’s iconic waterfront, we not only showcase the city’s beauty but also contribute to the rich tapestry of arts and music that defines our community.”
”Wonderfront has always been about creating an immersive experience that goes beyond the music, and we are excited to bring even more diversity and innovation to the festival in 2024,” says Paul Thornton, Managing Partner. “This year’s move to May allows us to embrace the sunshine and create a unique atmosphere that enhances the overall Wonderfront experience. We can’t wait to share the magic of Wonderfront with our attendees.”
For 2024, the festival will feature more than 80 artists performing across seven stages of music, including headliners such as Weezer, Beck, and Mount Joy, along with Carly Rae Jepsen, Dayglow, T-Pain, Steel Pulse, The Roots, and more.
The Festival is also showcasing emerging Dance & DJ talent on this year’s new Club Lounge Stage along with a special community stage in the festival’s Seaport Village providing free music from a variety of local artists.
Along with music, the festival will feature an extensive slate of non-musical interactions for fans, including culinary options, activations and art installations.
