EDINBURGH, Scotland (CelebrityAccess) — DF Concerts, the organizers for Edinburgh’s Connect Festival announced that the event will take a hiatus in 2024, joining the growing list of UK festivals that have canceled this year.
In a post shared on the fest’s social media, organizers announced they will be taking a “break” while they “build the next edition” of the event.
The festival, which moved venues to the Royal Highland Centre in 2022, regularly attracts thousands of fans to Edinburgh in August with lineups that feature artists such as The Chemical Brothers, Phoebe Bridgers, Raye, Boygenius, and Franz Ferdinand, among others.
While the festival will not be taking place in 2024, organizers revealed that their summer concert series at the festival grounds will continue.
So far, Becky Hill and Catfish & The Bottlemen have been announced, with additional shows to be announced in the coming weeks.
