NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Fresh from his return to Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” the noted stand-up comedian and political commentator Jon Stewart announced a series of live stand-up performances on the East Coast.
Produced by Live Nation, the five-date comedy tour kicks off March 1st at the Bardavon 1869 Opera House in Poughkeepsie, NY with additional shows in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, before closing out at the Grand Opera House in Delaware on April 17th.
The event will be phone-free, with the use of phones, smart watches, and accessories prohibited inside of the venue during the performance.
Fans will be asked to check their phones in individual Yondr pouches that can be opened at the conclusion of the show. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
