LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – The Wiltern in Los Angeles set the stage as comedian, actor, host, and author Tom Papa took the reins to host the 35th Annual Pollstar Awards. The event celebrated several entertainment industry A-listers across various categories, with notable winners including Taylor Swift, Metallica, Post Malone, Beyoncé, P!nk, Morgan Wallen, Karol G, Dave Chappelle, Brandi Carlile, U2, Jelly Roll, and more.
Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, honored for Rock Tour of the Year, and Dave Chappelle, recipient of Comedy Tour of the Year, were in attendance. Via video, other notable figures such as Jelly Roll and P!nk expressed their gratitude for their recognition.
The inaugural Pollstar Lifetime Achievement Award found a deserving recipient in agent Howard Rose, recognized for his longstanding contributions to the industry. A heartfelt video message from Elton John was played. James L. Dolan, the executive chairman and CEO of Sphere Entertainment Co., received the first-ever Visionary Award, celebrating his contributions that promise a lasting impact on the live entertainment industry.
Other winners for the night included global talent agency Wasserman Music, which was named Booking Agency of the Year for 2024.
The day started with a “Fireside Chat” featuring Dolan and Tim Leiweke, providing insights into the industry’s future. Grammy-winner Jon Bon Jovi attended the conference as a featured Keynote speaker, receiving the Milestone Award in honor of his band’s 40th anniversary.
