NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) – In a resounding continuation of her storied career, Kelsea Ballerini, the acclaimed country artist, has reaffirmed her allegiance to Black River Entertainment. Since her induction with the label in 2013, Ballerini’s musical journey has etched a significant mark in the annals of country music, boasting three consecutive chart-topping hits and a profound synergy with her Black River team.

Gordon Kerr, President and CEO of Black River Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration with Kelsea and Jason Owen, Founder and CEO of Sandbox Entertainment Group. “I find myself constantly blown away by Kelsea’s artistic vision and musical excellence,” remarked Kerr. “What a team we make, what history we write, what a story we tell!”

Jason Owen, Sandbox Entertainment, echoed Kerr’s sentiments, emphasizing the groundbreaking nature of the recording agreement. “Black River isn’t afraid to take risks, always leaning in with us on ideas that challenge the status quo,” noted Owen. According to Owen, the recording agreement pays homage to Kelsea’s artistry and her impact on the musical landscape.

A trailblazer in her own right, Ballerini, a two-time Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Awards (CMA) Award winner, has accumulated multiple nominations from prestigious award ceremonies. Her recent nod in the 2023 CMA Awards Album of the Year category adds to her impressive accolades. With four Grammy nominations, including a nod for “Best Country Album” at the most recent awards, Ballerini continues to grow in her musical journey.

The release of her deeply personal album, Welcome Mat, in 2023 marked a significant chapter in Ballerini’s career. The accompanying short film led to her debut on Saturday Night Live, universal acclaim from renowned critics, and the honor of gracing the cover of TIME Magazine’s TIME 100 Next issue. Ballerini’s influence extends beyond the music scene, as she’s ventured into literature with the release of her first original book of poetry, Feel Your Way Through, and her collaboration with Dolly Parton in the audiobook of Run, Rose, Run underscores her diverse talents.

In April 2022, Kelsea co-hosted the CMT Awards on CBS nationwide. Adding to her achievements, she became the newest face of COVERGIRL, marking a multi-year partnership that promises exciting ventures in the cosmetic world, with numerous nominations and awards, including her induction into the Grand Ole Opry in 2019 as its youngest member.
