RIDGEDALE, MO (CelebrityAccess) — After a decade of planning, development, and construction, Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, one of the nation’s newest outdoor amphitheaters, is scheduled to host its grand opening celebration in May.
Located in Ridgedale, Missouri, near the state’s country music capital of Branson, the 18,000-capacity Thunder Ridge Nature Arena is set against the backdrop of Table Rock Lake and vistas of nearby Boston Mountain.
The venue, which was designed by a specialized team utilizing biomimicry architectural techniques, is fully integrated into its natural surroundings and is billed by its team as “America’s most beautiful outdoor amphitheater.”
The venue will be managed and operated by ASM Global, and Live Nation has signed on to produce live music events at the venue.
“Thunder Ridge will absolutely be a must-stop for some of the biggest musical acts in the industry. The stunning surroundings, beautiful structures, and the venue itself create an extraordinary musical moment for guests,” stated Bob Roux, Live Nation’s President of U.S. Concerts.
“We are so pleased to join with Johnny Morris to operate this unique and spectacular venue. This remarkable creation is more than a place to see a concert. It’s a destination in itself. A true experience unlike any other,” noted ASM Global CEO Ron Benison.
“We all love our beautiful Ozarks and feel deeply proud to be able to share the beauty of the place we are blessed to call home with others around the globe for generations to come,” added Bass Pro Shops Founder, Johnny Morris, a key figure in the development of the venue.
A lineup for the venue’s grand opening has yet to be revealed but artists booked to play in Thunder Ridge’s inaugural season include Chris Stapleton’s All American Road Show on June 13th, and Luke Bryan’s Mind of a Country Boy tour on July 27th.
