WINSTEAD, Minn (CelebrityAccess) — Pepper Entertainment, the independent Midwest-based concert promoter announced the formation of a new partnership with the Winstock Country Music Festival.
The deal will see Pepper Entertainment become the exclusive talent buyer for the festival, starting in 2025 following the retirement of the festival’s longtime talent buyer Gary Marx, who announced he was stepping back from the festival after the 2024 season.
“It’s a tremendous honor to carry on the rich tradition of Winstock and the legacy of Gary Marx. We look forward to many years of continued growth and delivering top-tier talent to the festival fans,” stated Pepper Entertainment President & CEO Jered Johnson.
Dave Danielson, who has been the Winstock Country Music Festival Committee Chairman for 20 years, also announced plans to step down from his leadership role. In his wake, Winstock Country Music Festival Committee Vice Chairman Ryan Gueningsman, will assume the senior leadership role at the event.
“We’re so grateful to have had Gary Marx secure year after year of great talent for our festival,” Danielson said. “Not only has he brought us so many great acts, but he’s also helped us prosper along the way with many marketing concepts, as well as the development of the second stage at Winstock. It’s truly because of Gary’s connections, insight, and tenacity to get the best that we’ve grown into the event we are today.”
“I’m excited for Pepper Entertainment to begin working to continue our long-standing tradition of bringing the best possible entertainment lineups to Winsted for Winstock,” Gueningsman added.
The festival, which takes place this year from June 14-15, will feature headliners that include Cole Swindell and Jason Aldean.
