NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSGE) has announced the appointment of Michael Grau as Executive Vice President, Finance, effective February 12. Following a transition period, he will also take on the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role starting April 1.
In his position, Grau will collaborate closely with MSG Entertainment’s executive management team to support the company’s long-term direction. He will provide strategic financial insight across all facets of the business, overseeing financial planning and analysis, controllership, treasury, investor relations, tax, and procurement functions. Grau will report to MSG Entertainment’s Executive Chairman and CEO, James L. Dolan.
Grau brings nearly 40 years of experience to MSG Entertainment, having served as CFO at Altice USA, a publicly traded cable communications company, and spending almost two decades at Cablevision Systems Corporation before its acquisition by Altice in 2016.
Dolan expressed his pleasure in welcoming Grau to MSG Entertainment, citing his previous role in the Finance team at Cablevision and the valuable financial and operating experience he brings to the new role. Grau, in turn, expressed his honor of joining MSG Entertainment and his excitement about leveraging his expertise in contributing to the company’s financial operations and business priorities.
