NEWPORT, Isle of Wight (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers for the Isle of Wight Festival revealed the next round of artists to join the lineup for 2024, including headliners Pet Shop Boys and Green Day.
The Pet Shop Boys are lined up to headline the festival’s main stage on Saturday night, as part of the band’s Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live tour. Green Day are scheduled to take the festival’s main stage on Sunday night, closing the show down for what will be their only UK festival performance this year.
Other artists announced for Isle of Wight 2024 include Rock & Roll Hall The Pretenders, who will close out the Big Top stage on Friday night, and Johnny Marr, founding member of The Smiths, who will revisit songs from across his career, including material from his time with The Smiths, along with his solo hits.
The lineup announcement also includes the multi-platinum rock band Feeder, and the recently reformed pop group S Club, who are currently on tour celebrating their 25th anniversary.
Breakthrough artists Cian Ducrot and Caity Baser join the Festival’s line-up for the first time ever, along with the newcomer British rock band Wunderhorse, who had a breakout year in 2022 with the release of their debut album “Cub.”
Other artists announced for 2024 include Scouting For Girls, Suede, Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems, The Streets, Keane, Simple Minds, Beverley Knight, Zara Larsson, Jake Shears, Dagny, McFly, Pet Shop Boys, The Bootleg Beatles, Picture This, Blossoms, Nothing But Thieves, Crowded House, The Darkness, Toyah & Robert Fripp, Rick Parfitt Jnr & The RPJ Band, The Mary Wallopers and The K’s.
The 2024 edition of the Isle of Wight Festival takes place from June 20-23 at Seaclose Park in Newport.
