COPENHAGEN, Denmark (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music Group announced the promotion of Karen Vincent, who has been named as the General Manager of the label’s regional offices in Denmark.
In her new role, Vincent will be based in Copenhagen and report directly to Mark Fry, President of Warner Music Nordics.
Vincent joined WMG as Marketing Director of Warner Music Denmark in 2017 and has since worked on campaigns for local artists such as Drew Sycamore and Nicklas Sahl.
Before she joined the team at WMG, Vincent served as Senior Product Manager at indie label Copenhagen Records and also handled publicity for the Danish rock band Volbeat, who were signed to Universal Music.
She began her career as an assistant at Sony Music.
Vincent is also the co-founder of SheCanPlay, a group that aims to secure more female representation on radio, in the charts, and on live stages.
“I’m so excited to be stepping up to lead Warner Music Denmark. We’re a team that consistently punches above its weight, whether that’s securing a 10-week run at Number One here in Denmark for hip-hop legend Gobs or helping superstar Christopher become one of the best-known international artists in China,” Vincent said of her new role.
