LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Sony Music Publishing UK today announced multiple promotions and a new hire for their Artist and Repertoire team.
According to SMP, ZaZa Kazadi has joined the company as a Senior A&R Manager. Kazadi, who is based in London, will report to David Ventura, President & Co-Managing Director, UK and SVP International, Sony Music Publishing
Kazadi joins SMP from Never Dies Management, where he managed a roster of artists and producers that included British rappers ZieZie and Sonzi.
Sony also announced the promotion of Adrienne Bookbinder, who was named Senior A&R Manager, UK & Europe, and Nasra Artan, who has been named Senior European A&R Manager, effective immediately.
Bookbinder, who is based in SMP’s London office, will report to Ventura, while Artan will report to both Ventura and Managing Director, Scandinavia and SVP International Johnny Tennander.
During her tenure at Sony Music Publishing, Bookbinder has signed Dom Dolla, Jazzy, ANOTR, Gorgon City, and Eli Brown, and collaborated with Black Coffee, CamelPhat, MK, KUNGS and Conducta. Before she joined Sony, Bookbinder spent seven years at Defected Records and Publishing where she signed artist such as Honey Dijon.
Artan has helped to secure European talent for SMP, including Fumes Beats, and helped to develop opportunities for DIY creators through her work on new international songwriting camps at the company. Prior to joining SMP, Artan spent three years at Warner Music Norway, most recently as A&R Project Manager.
