NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Country artist Chris Young can breath a sign of relief after Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, announced that he was dropping all charges against Young following an incident at a Nashville bar last week.

In a statement released by District Attorney Funk, he stated “Regarding the Chris Young incident – After a review of all the evidence in this case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed.”

Young was arrested on Monday and charged with assaulting an officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a dispute at a Nashville bar.

According to court documents, TABC officers were conducting routine compliance checks at the Tin Roof bar on Demonbreun Street when they encountered Young, who allegedly reached out and struck an officer on the shoulder as the officer was leaving the establishment.

Young was arrested and released on a $2,500 bond the following day.

The multi-platinum, country star is gearing up for the release of his ninth studio album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, which is due on May, and preparing to hit the road for a supporting tour later this year.
