AIMES, IOWA (CelebrityAccess) — VenuWorks, the venue management company, announced that longtime team member Michael Silva has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Silva first joined VenuWorks in 2014, and has since held a variety of senior roles, including the Executive Director of the California University of PA Convocation Center, the Topeka Performing Arts Center, and CR Events Live which includes the Alliant Energy PowerHouse, the Paramount Theatre, the McGrath Amphitheatre, and the ImOn Ice Arena.
Before he joined VenuWorks, Silva held multiple senior roles at SMG, including serving as General Manager of the Cambria County War Memorial.
“Mike is the right person to lead our venue operations,” said Steve Peters, Founder/CEO of VenuWorks. “He is a results-driven leader who also understands the importance of developing strong professional relationships. Mike’s demonstrated track record in client services, financial management, strategic planning, and employee development will enhance our strategy and growth initiatives. Silva will step into his new role at VenuWorks officially on April 1st and will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Aimes, Iowa.
