NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Nashville’s newest independent concert venue, Cannery Hall, officially opened its doors on January 17th and announced that Andrew Hall has joined the team as a Senior Talent Buyer.
In his new role, Hall joins Cannery’s current talent buyer, Tyler Key, and will take point on bookings and partnerships with artists for the venue’s three stages: The Mainstage, The Mil, and Row One Stage.
A veteran of the live events industry in the region, Hall joins The Cannery after five years at the True Grit Talent Agency, following its acquisition by William Morris Endeavor. His past talent buying roles include serving as the inhouse buyer at 3rd and Lindsley Nashville for the last few years.
“Andrew is well known and connected throughout Nashville and the music industry all over the country,” said Brent Hyams, General Manager at Cannery Hall. “He’s got a great ear for emerging talent and will build partnerships with artists, agencies, labels and management companies to ensure Cannery Hall has the most exciting shows in Nashville.”
“I’ve been coming to shows in this building as long as I’ve been in Nashville. It’s enchanting, there is something truly special about preserving a piece of music history. It’s an honor to contribute to the independent music scene in Nashville and develop acts from the ground up. We will have the ability to do just that – grow a band from small to medium to large crowds and, that’s important to us. It is humbling to be able to contribute to a historic venue like this. Bands considered icons and artists who are just breaking through have played here over many decades. We plan to grow that list of performers, write new history, and contribute to the live music culture that fans of this building love,” Hall added.
While Cannery Hall opened in a 140-year-old historic building, the venue has been fully modernized and features multi-million-dollar, state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. The flexible venue can accommodate multiple-sized shows, with the Main Stage having space for 1,275 fans while The Mil has a capacity of 625 and the Row One Stage has room for up to 300 fans. The top floor of Cannery Hall is home to Amaranth, a unique special events space for up to 380 people, which is now accepting booking inquiries for 2024.
