LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Legendary singer-songwriter Billy Joel is set to grace the stage at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. The “Piano Man” himself, renowned for his enduring influence and decades-long career, will join a stellar lineup of performers for the highly anticipated event. “Music’s Biggest Night,” hosted by Trevor Noah, will be broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 4) at 8 pm ET on CBS and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

The news of Joel’s performance comes hot on the heels of his recent announcement about releasing a new single, “Turn the Lights Back On,” marking his first venture into new music in an impressive 17 years. Joel co-wrote the single with the song’s producer, Freddy Wexler, who has worked on songs for artists such as Selena Gomez, Kanye West (Ye), Ariana Grande, and more. Additional writers for the song include Wayne Hector (Nicki Minaj, One Direction) and Arthur Bacon.

In addition, other performers were announced this week and have been added to the lineup. Taking the stage will be Burna Boy, Luke Combs, and Travis Scott. This latest batch of performers was unveiled earlier today on CBS and joined previously announced acts Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo. Additional performers will be announced in the coming days and weeks.

The top nominees for this year’s Grammy Awards are Eilish and Rodrigo, with six nominations each, while R&B star SZA leads the list with a total of nine nominations. Tied with seven nominations apiece are Victoria Monét and Phoebe Bridgers. Burna Boy has been nominated for four Grammys Awards this year, Combs and Scott are both up for one apiece.
