NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The American Association of Independent Music, the trade association for the indie label industry, announced the expansion of its membership department with the addition of Emmaline McCourt as Membership Manager.
In her new role, McCourt will focus on maintaining relations with A2IM’s label partners and spearheading membership engagement. She will report to Melissa White, A2IM’s Director of Membership.
A native of Massachusetts, McCourt attended Boston College and found her way into the music industry after joining the staff of WZBC, the college’s radio station. She began her career at distributor Forced Exposure before making a jump to the NYC-based Beggars Group.
Additionally, McCourt served as Director of Sales for Mute and most recently worked as a music merchandiser at the music streaming platform Qobuz.
