NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Downtown Music Publishing (DMP) has announced a global publishing agreement with multi-platinum, GRAMMY-winning US singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. The publishing agreement covers Caillat’s entire catalog and all future releases, including her latest album, Along The Way, released in October 2023. She will benefit from DMP’s global administration and creative sync services. Downtown Artist and Label Services, who distributed Caillat’s latest album, will continue to work with her on future releases. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Caillat gained fame in 2007 with her 3x Platinum debut album Coco, which included the singles “Bubbly” (6x platinum) and “Realize” (2x platinum). Throughout her career, the singer-songwriter has received two Grammy Awards and five nominations, over 15 billion streams worldwide, and eight number-one/Top Ten singles across her catalog.
She has collaborated with some of the industry’s biggest names, including Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, Jason Mraz, Brad Paisley, and Gavin DeGraw, to name only a few. Following her duet with Jason Mraz, “Lucky,” in 2008, Caillat released her second studio album, Breakthrough, which became the singer’s first album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart. Caillat’s latest album, Along The Way, was released in October 2023 via her imprint, Blue Jean Baby Records, and was distributed via Downtown Artist and Label Services.
