LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Grammy-nominated recording artist, songwriter, and producer Maggie Rogers marked the fifth anniversary of the release of her Capitol Records debut, Heard It In A Past Life, by announcing the RIAA’s gold certification of the album.
In addition to the album, singles “Light On” and “Alaska” have gone Platinum. “Fallingwater,” another single from the album, and “Love You For A Long Time,” a standalone track released in late 2019, has also been certified Gold.
Heard It In A Past Life was heralded as one of the best albums of 2019 by multiple music publications including Rolling Stone, Billboard, Complex, Paste, Consequence of Sound, Esquire and GQ. Rogers also performed cuts from the album across late night, including on “Saturday Night Live,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” as well as “Tiny Desk Concert” for NPR and at festivals such as Austin City Limits.esk,” “Austin City Limits,” “TODAY” and more.
To mark the occasion of the album’s anniversary, Rogers will be featured as listening parties New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Cambridge and Los Angeles on Thursday night, during which the album will be played in its entirety at participating venues.
