NORWAY (CelebrityAccess) – Nordic independent promoter and agent network All Things Live has acquired Stand Up Norge, Norway’s leading provider of comedy content and live experiences.
The partnership strengthens All Things Live’s market position in Norway and enables it to focus on exporting the Norwegian stand-up success to the other Nordic countries.
Kim Worsøe, CEO of All Things Live Group, said: “Stand Up Norge is a well-run company with many talented comedians and great prospects in Norway and beyond. We look forward to strengthening our position in Norway and introducing talents, texts and experiences from Norway in the other Nordic countries.”
Kaspar Kristiansen, Managing Director of private equity firm Waterland Nordic, which supports All Things Live, added: “We are pleased that Stand Up Norge joins All Things Live, which has established a leading position in the Nordic live entertainment market in just one year supported by Waterland’s buy-and-build strategy. The addition of Stand Up Norge is a great strategic fit that secures a strong market position and enables the partnership to reach across the value chain and cover ‘all things live’ in Norway. We will continue to support the growth ambitions of All Things Live to leverage the attractive market drivers in the Nordic live entertainment industry.”
Founder of Stand Up Norge, Elina Krantz, said: “We have achieved a lot in Norway, and we now turn to the Nordics to delight our neighbors as well. We look forward to working with our colleagues in All Things Live aiming to attract even more international stand up stars to Norway while simultaneously offering comedians and copywriters even greater opportunities on new stages in the Nordics.”
As part of the new partnership, Krantz sells her shares in Stand Up Norge and becomes a partner and co-owner of All Things Live.
