(CelebrityAccess) – The female-led music and entertainment platform Femme It Forward has partnered with Live Nation Entertainment’s flagship retail store, Shop Nation, to raise money for charities that support women’s music education and career development.
Select pieces from the Femme It Forward merchandise collection will be available for purchase at Shop Nation starting today (Dec. 19), and a portion of proceeds from all sales will be donated to the nonprofit organization, Girls Make Beats. The organization hosts educational seminars, summer camps, industry panels and networking events for girls ages 8-17 to help further their careers as music producers, DJs, and audio engineers.

Femme It Forward, originally launched under Live Nation Urban, recently partnered with parent company, Live Nation Entertainment, to form a joint venture. The platform will be broadening its 2020 programming slate to include three new initiatives: “Serenade,” a series of live pop-up shows with male artists celebrating women; “Testimony,” an intimate gathering during which women in entertainment will share adversities and triumphs that changed their lives; and “GEMA,” a live series and documentary showcasing groundbreaking female artists in Latin music.
