LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Bing Crosby has returned to the UK album chart for the first time in over 40 years following the release of his new orchestral album, Bing At Christmas.
Released via Decca Records, the album, which charted at No. 9, features original vocal recordings by the legendary crooner with newly-recorded orchestral arrangements by the London Symphony Orchestra.
The last time Crosby entered the Top 10 was 1977 immediately following his death.
Bing At Christmas is Crosby’s 11th UK chart album and contains two versions of his holiday classic “White Christmas,” which is the biggest-selling single of all time.
