NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) – The International Folk Music Awards (IFMAs) has announced its 2020 honorees ahead of the 32nd edition of the Folk Alliance International Conference slated to take place this upcoming January 22-26 in New Orleans.
This includes IFMAs Lifetime Achievement Awards, People’s Voice Award, the Clearwater Award, Spirit of Folk Award, and the Folk DJ Hall of Fame inductees. Nominees for the member-voted Best Of categories will be announced in early January.
The International Folk Music Awards recognize the folk music industry’s leaders, legends, unsung heroes, and rising talent. Past performers and presenters include Kris Kristofferson, Ruthie Foster, John Oates, Guy Davis, The Kingston Trio, Anais Mitchell, Megan Mullally, Bruce Cockburn, and Eliza Gilkyson.
