LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Anthem Entertainment has appointed music industry veteran Allison Hamamura as General Manager, West Coast, and head of the company’s recorded music label, Anthem Records.
Based in Los Angeles, Hamamura joins Anthem Entertainment from the Aloha Music Group where she has been the Chief Creative Officer for the past seven years.
Previously, Hamamura served as VP of A&R for Hollywood Records, where she involved with artists there including Ludacris, T-Pain, and Jesse McCartney, and as General Manager at Mercury Records, where she worked with artists including Hanson, Brian McKnight, Morrissey, Chuck D, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
In her new role, Hamamura will report directly to Anthem Entertainment CEO Helen Murphy, and will travel between the Anthem offices in New York, Nashville, London and Toronto as needed.
The Anthem Entertainment label team will now report directly to her.
