NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Toby Keith paid homage to some of country music’s greatest stars with a performance of his single latest “That’s Country Bro” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Keith performed the upbeat call-out track with the backing of a full band, including a horn section and a steel guitar, as well as a backup vocalist for the chorus.
“That’s Country Bro” is a track from “Toby Keith Greatest Hits: The Show Dog” which he released on Friday.
The collection features more than a dozen tracks originally released on his imprint Show Dog Records, along with four newly recorded songs including “Don’t Let The Old Man In” and “That’s Country Bro.”
Also included on the album are two other previously unreleased tracks, “American Ride (Official Remix)” featuring DJ KO and “Back In The 405,” which he co-wrote with Colt Ford.
Both Keith and Colbert have some history together and the late-night comedian inducted Toby Keith Into Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 2015.
Keith is currently on the road with his ‘That’s Country Bro’ tour.
