To be eligible for induction, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.

Nominee ballots are decided by an international voting body of more than 1,000 artists, historians and members of the music industry, however, fans can take part in the induction selection process from October 15 through January 10, 2020, 11:59 pm ET by casting their votes here.
