LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Legendary CAA talent rep Emma Banks will be featured during the Live Interview at this year’s Live UK Summit.
Banks will be interviewed by promoter and artist manager David Stopps and will discuss her storied 30-year career and her rise to become one of the most successful female talent execs in an industry that has traditionally been dominated by males.
Banks, who is based in London, represents a roster of music heavyweights that includes Green Day, Florence + The Machine, Katy Perry, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Kylie Minogue.
Other speakers announced for this year’s Live UK summit include John Giddings founder of the Isle of Wight Festival, whose agency roster includes Rolling Stones, Madonna, U2, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford.
New conference sessions scheduled for this year’s conference include Everyday People, covering diversity and gender balance issues, and Down To Earth, focussing on sustainability. They join Guardians of the Galaxy (international booking agents), Taking Care of Business (concert promoting), The Social Network (digital interaction) and more.
Under the banner New Venue, New Date, New Focus, the UK Live Summit 2019 is set to take place on Wednesday, October 30th at London’s new Hard Rock Hotel and its convention space Great Cumberland Place at Marble Arch in London’s West End.
