(CelebrityAccess) — English singer-songwriter Charli XCX and French pop artist Christine and the Queens teamed up to perform their joint single “Gone,” on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The synth-heavy performance started off with just Charli XCX singing alone on a prop filled stage, but she was soon joined by Christine and the Queens for a well-choreographed and evocative duet.

“Gone” is from Charli XCX’s latest album Charli which she released earlier this month. The track is one of numerous collabs featured on the release, which also includes team-ups with Lizzo, Haim and Troye Siva, and will be supported with a tour which kicks off next month in the Uk and Europe.

Charli XCX also sat down for an interview with host Jimmy Fallon to talk about the music video for her hit “1999” and the personal nature of her forthcoming album.

“On this one, I kind of delved more into my mental health and my insecurities and my feelings on anxiety and stuff,” she told Fallon.

“It just kind of happened in a natural way. I’m really proud of the album,” she added.
