WARSAW, Poland (CelebrityAccess) — German concert promoter FKP Scorpio announced an international expansion with the opening of FKP Scorpio Poland.
The new company, with offices located in Warsaw, will be led by Executive Director Filip Potocki, who has been Managing Director of Arcadia Live in Austria since 2015
In addition to Potocki, FKP Scorpio announced the hire of Jan Brzoza, who will handle Administration, Marketing and Ticketing; and Krysztof Czarniakowski, who will oversee Project Management and Ticketing for the company’s new Polish division.
“I have been following the development of the Polish live music market for a long time and see great potential there. We had a first experience [in the market] in 2018 with the Ed Sheeran concert in the fantastic atmosphere of the PGE Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw,” says Folkert Koopmans, CEO of FKP Scorpio.
The first official concert organized FKP Scorpio’s new Polish unit will be Netherlands-based singer Duncan Laurence, who won the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
